  • Please Note!! THE DELIVERY AND PICK UP WINDOWS. We pick up in the morning and deliver in the afternoon following standard check in and check out times. Alternate times can be arranged based on availability for local/seasonal residents and those joining family already here in the desert. Desert Baby rentals does not have a store location all orders are done with delivery.     
  • 1) How do I place an order:  Simply go to our products page, scroll through the categories and add to the cart the products you would like to rent.  When you are finished shopping click checkout and you will be guided through our easy checkout process.  Feel free to email us anytime to ask questions at info@desertbabyrentals.com or try our texting system at 760.861.6410
  • 2) Can I make changes to my order:  Yes, changes are simple, you can do it youself.  When you first place your order you will be asked to create an account, this will allow you to login anytime to review and edit your order.  You may make changes to your order up until 24 hours prior to delivery.
  • 3) When does my rental term begin: Your rental begins on the evening of delivery and ends on the last night of use.  The pick up day is not considered a day of use and will not be billed, unless special arrangements have been made to pick up at the end of the day.
  • 4) Payment: We accept most major credit cards.
  • 5) Where are you located: We do not have a store, our only location is on line. 
  • 6) Can I pick up: Desert Baby rentals does not have a store location all orders are done with delivery.
  • 7) Average Delivery Cost: Approx $45 this is a one time fee that covers both delivery and pick up.
  • 8) Do I have to pay twice for delivery and pick up: No. Only if you want to.
  • 9) Are the products clean: Absolutely! All linnens are laundered, cribs are wiped down with a safe cleaning solutions for both the wood and your baby. Other soft goods including play yards, car seat pads and harnesses are cleaned according to the manufacture guide lines.  Eating surfaces are scubbed thoroughly. We use only mild soaps. All toy's are cleaned and disinfected. Everything is inspected. 
  • 10) Airport Service: Very Important please read! Customers must arrange directly with an agent at the rental car counter inside the Palm Springs Airport Terminal too accept the car seat(s) from us and hold them until you arrive and also agree to accept them from you when you return the car and hold them for us to pickup. Provided the rental car company agrees to accept the car seat(s) on your behalf then we can deliver car seat(s) to your rental car counter inside the airport terminal. Once you have made arrangements with your rental car company, place your order with us and be sure to include the rental car agents name in the customer notes section of our online order form, along with your flight number and arrival time. Also let us know what time you plan on returning the rental car and seat(s). We will deliver car seat(s) prior to your flight arriving. Upon returning the rental car customers MUST remove car seats themselves and walk them back to the rental car counter inside the airport terminal and have them tagged with our name for us to pick up. Failure to do so will result in a lost/stollen car seat(s) and customer will be responsible for the cost to replace the car seat(s).

Deliveries

    If you are in a rental property that you have never visited before be mindful that many of these locations are in gated communities that have vendor curfew hours and restrictions (Sundays, Holidays, after 5pm among others). It is the clients responsibility to book their order accordingly and also make sure guard gates are notified of the delivery and pick up dates or that any necessary gate codes are provided on your reservation form. If a delivery or pick up need to be rescheduled due to the customer or propery manager not facilitating these details there will be an extra fee applied to the order. Here is a list below but not entailing all the most common zip codes located in gated communities.

    It is much more difficult to facilitate delivery and pick up if we do not have access at the front gate either through a gate code or notifying the guard gate in advance.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • 1) Cancellation Policy:

   

For order cancellations received outside of 7 calendar days of your delivery date there is a full refund minus a $20 processing fees.

For orders canceled between 4 to 7 calendar days of your drop off date there is a 50% product refund including the delivery fee minus the $20 processing fee.

There are no product refunds (only the delivery fee refunded) for cancellation requests received within 3 calendar days of the delivery date.

Orders cancelled on the scheduled delivery date will be charged in full (including delivery fee).

There are no refunds on early terminations after orders have been delivered whether on the complete order or on individual products.


Holiday cancellation policy: (Applicable to the week prior and after every major holiday)

For order cancellations received outside of 14 calendar days of your delivery date there is a full refund minus a $20 processing fees.

For orders canceled between 8 to 14 calendar days of your drop off date there is a 50% product refund including the delivery fee minus the $20 processing fee.

There are no product refunds (only the delivery fee refunded) for cancellation requests received within 7 calendar days of the delivery date.

Cancellation requests received the day of scheduled delivery will be charged in full (including delivery fee).

There are no refunds on early terminations after orders have been delivered whether on the complete order or on individual products.

(The cancellation policy applies to partial and full cancellation of orders.)

  • 2) Delivery and Pick Up Policy: We deliver seven days a week between 8a - 7p.  We require a minimum 5 hour window of time during the holiday's and peak of season (January - May).  You may contact us late afternoon/evening the day prior to your delivery date for a norrower delivery window. You may make arrangements with your resort, rental company or resident for us to deliver prior to your arrival, and pick up after your departure. Availability for this option based upon our route that day.

If you are selecting a porch pick up and delivery on your reservation form the above information is especially important to remember. The renter is responsible for lost or stolen items from a porch even after check out is complete so please make sure all equipment is in a hidden area, side gate or back yard.
 
If you are staying in a hotel delivery and pick up is usually made from the hotel bell closet. It is the renters responsibility to make sure the equipment is tagged and placed back into the bell closet at the starting hour of the pick up time slot selected. DO NOT check out and leave the equipment in your room. If equipment is not placed at the bell closet for return and our staff spends an excessive amount of time looking for it an extra charge will apply.  The renter is responsible for lost items in a hotel even after check out is complete so please make sure all equipment is tagged with your name upon check out. We also recommend getting the name of the bellman or hotel staff member you give the equipment back to.
 
 
  • 3) Damages/ Lost or Stolen Products With the exception of high chairs booster and bumbo seats Desert Baby Rentals holds a no food or drink policy in all rental equipment (water is OK). Desert Baby Rentals Holds a no sand policy on all strollers. The renter agrees that the products must be returned in the condition received a minimum $35 cleaning fee will be applied to the credit card on file.  If any products require professional cleaning from a third party, cleaning fees assessed by Desert Baby Rentals will apply to the credit card on file. Please help us keep the equipment clean and safe for our next little guest. 

    Renter is responsible for damage, loss or theft of rental equipment and agrees to pay for any replacements needed. Products must be returned with all accessories and parts intact and in proper working order. Any excess damage to rental equipment aside from normal wear will be repaired or replaced (depending on the condition) at the expense of the renter. Any additional fees resulting from loss, theft, repair or replacement will apply to the credit card on file. Note that in the event of a lost item at a hotel, car rental agency, rental property or any other type of delivery and pick up destination Desert Baby Rentals will give the renter 72 hours to work with their visited location in order to try and retrieve the lost product. It is not the responsibility of Desert Baby Rentals to try and retrieve lost equipment from the renters destination. After the 72 hour time period if the product is not retrieved the card on file will be charged for the cost of the item. Any extra trips to retrieve equipment again may result in an additional delivery fee. 
  • 4) Car Seat Installation Car seats cannot be installed by our staff. Information on installing car seats will be posted on the car seats themselves. YouTube has great instructional videos aswell. Local Sheriffs stations can also install car seats.

full size cribs cannot be transported in your vehicle if you decide to change locations. You must contact Desert Baby Rentals and arrange a transfer.
